#1 passes to #2, who then dribbles towards the corner to distort the zone
#3 drops to the opposite corner

Diagram 2:

#1 cuts to the ball to receive the pass
#4 posts up hard to occupy x5
#5 looks to seal x3 by sliding him up the lane
#3 cuts behind #5 looking for a lob from #1

Coach Spotlight

Tom Kleinschmidt has been the Head Boys Basketball Coach at DePaul College Prep in Chicago since 2012. In 2023, the Rams won the IHSA 2A State Championship. DePaul Prep followed that up with an IHSA 3A State Championship in 2024. Before arriving at DePaul Prep, Coach Kleinschmidt was the Head Boys Basketball Coach at York High School and was on the men's basketball staff at DePaul University.
