How do I join IBCA?

Membership is open to all basketball coaches in Illinois. Visit the Membership page to select your plan and complete the registration process. You will receive your IBCA membership card and immediate access to member benefits, including free admission to clinics and coaching resources.

What benefits are included with membership?

Members receive free access to the annual statewide clinic and satellite clinics, an exclusive library of online coaching resources, vendor discounts, eligibility for Coach of the Year awards, and free membership in the National Association of High School Basketball Coaches. You also gain networking opportunities and the ability to serve in leadership roles within IBCA.

How can I register for clinics?

Current IBCA members can register for clinics and events through the Events page. Members receive free admission to coaching roundtables and clinics featuring university coaching staff. Non-members may register at standard rates, or join IBCA to access member pricing and additional benefits.

What recognition programs does IBCA offer?

IBCA recognizes excellence through multiple programs, including Coach of the Year awards, Hall of Fame inductions, school victory plaques for coaching milestones, and academic achievement awards for teams maintaining strong academic performance. We also honor All-State selections and Mr. and Ms. Basketball awards annually.

How does IBCA support inclusive basketball?

IBCA organizes competitive Unified Basketball events for teams that include Special Olympics participants and unified partners, as well as wheelchair basketball competitions.
