The following is from Austin Scott, former Head Boys Basketball Coach at Hersey High School:

Diagram 1:

#1 passes to the side of the floor where your best shooter is located
#2 dribbles down to shift the defense
#5 dives to the block
#4 cuts to the ball side elbow
#1 follows

Diagram 2:

#2 passes to #1
#1 takes two hard dribbles away from the pass to sell the misdirection

Diagram 3:

#4 releases to reverse the ball quickly to #2
#5 pins the low defender, opening up #2 for a shot
